About

Eloise Ng is an Australian composer and pianist based in New York City, with a diverse musical background shaped by her early years in Singapore. She began her musical journey at age four, picking up violin, piano, voice, cello, and oboe before later teaching herself guitar and ukulele. While piano became her primary instrument, this wide-ranging musical curiosity continues to shape her compositional voice today.

She has collaborated on a wide range of film and media projects and was selected as one of five composers to score a film in the 2025 ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop. Eloise also interned with and was mentored by Grammy Award–winning, Emmy-nominated composer Lili Haydn (Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia), and was chosen for Golden Hornet’s Cinema Recomposed initiative, where she was mentored by Carter Burwell and Jimena Contreras. She has additionally received mentorship from composers Mandy Hoffman, Jamie Lawrence, Catherine Joy, and John Kaefer.

Eloise holds a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours from King’s College London, where she was awarded the Purcell Prize for the highest academic achievement in her cohort. As part of her degree, she studied Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, and deepened her interest in film scoring through courses at Berklee Online and the National Film and Television School (NFTS). She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Screen Scoring at NYU Steinhardt, where she was a Global Citizen Scholar.

Blending classical training with electronic textures, Eloise crafts emotionally rich scores that bring new dimensions to visual storytelling. She thrives on collaboration with filmmakers and creative teams, and looks forward to building new artistic partnerships on upcoming projects.
